Where kids play and adults connect

What is Tod Pod?

Tod Pod is a playgroup for families with children from birth through five years old who live in or near Bloomington, Minnesota. We provide a regular schedule of things to do with pre-school age children, making it easier than ever to get out the door with a young family. Adults come as they are, and are welcomed into a community of others in a similar situation.

While the kids play, the adults connect, and everyone benefits from sharing the parenting experience.

Tod Pod is for babies, toddlers, and pre-school aged children who are accompanied by mothers, fathers, grandparents, nannies, or other caregivers. We provide a welcoming, supportive environment for all families to come together regardless of cultural, social or economic backgrounds.

Children reap the benefits of creative and unstructured learning through play, and parents and caregivers get a break from the demands and isolation of new parenthood. The connections to be made are four-fold: caregivers to their children, caregivers to other caregivers, children to other children, and the entire family to the local community.
