What to Expect from our Annual Egg Hunt

The Tod Pod Egg Hunt is a free, annual, outdoor event aimed at kids age 1-5 years old and their families (siblings welcome). Whether you're new or been with us for years, this is a great way to connect and "ring in spring" together!

Frequently Asked Questions:

How much does it cost to attend? There is no cost. Thanks to Tod Pod sponsors, this event is free for families.

Do I have to register in advance? Yes. Families must RSVP in order to attend. We have a cap of 150 kids due to parking and supplies.

We don't plan to participate, can we still come without registering? Sorry, but no. Due to parking limitations at the park, we have to adhere to our capacity limit (see above) and anyone who plans to attend needs to register in advance.

How do I register? Please click the RSVP link in a Tod Pod email or from the event on our Calendar page.

What will happen at the event? Families arrive at 10am. The egg hunt begins promptly at 10:15, lasting about 10-15 minutes. Families are invited to hang out after the egg hunt to explore the activity stations and enjoy the donuts, juice, and good company.

What will eggs be stuffed with? Tod Pod volunteers will pre-stuff eggs with a mix of wrapped candy and age-appropriate trinkets.

What should I wear? Comfortable clothes to be outside in for 30-90 minutes. This event is held completely outdoors and will only be postponed if there is a complete downpour. Our rain date is Saturday, May 9.

What should I bring? Please bring something to collect eggs in (like a bag or basket). If it is a nice morning and you plan to hang out after the hunt, a blanket or camp chairs are also a good idea. (There are no benches or seating at the park.)

Are there restrooms on site? No, there is only a porta-potty at the park.

Can we bring our dog on a leash? No, due to allergies in the group, this event is off limits to pets of any kind.
